About HeatNest

Home comfort is personal. It is the warmth in your living room, the hot water in your morning routine and the air you come home to.

A business built around the home

HeatNest is a home comfort business based in North York, Ontario. Our work centres on the systems people rely on every day: heating, cooling, fireplaces and hot water. Our base is at 71 Orfus Rd, North York, ON M6A 1M4, with service areas extending across Ontario.

These systems often stay out of sight until something changes. A room becomes difficult to heat, a fireplace will not light or hot water becomes inconsistent. Behind each equipment concern is a household trying to keep everyday life running. That is the perspective we bring to home service.

HeatNest brings several related areas of home care under one name. Whether you are looking into an existing appliance, planning a replacement or trying to understand maintenance needs, our focus is on making the conversation about your home understandable and relevant.

Our focus

Connected systems. Everyday comfort.

Our service range includes furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, gas fireplaces, pool heaters, tank and tankless water heaters, gas lines and chimney related work. These are different pieces of equipment, but they share a common purpose: helping a home function comfortably through the seasons.

Ontario homes are not all alike. Older houses, newer builds, additions and properties with more than one heating system can have very different needs. A replacement that suits one home may not suit another. Equipment choices should take account of the space, existing connections and how the home is used.

Our service directory explains the individual types of work in more detail. This page is about the thinking behind them: seeing home comfort as a connected whole rather than a list of unrelated appliances.

What matters to us

A thoughtful approach to home service

Clarity before decisions

Homeowners should understand what an equipment problem means, what can be addressed now and what may need further investigation. A useful explanation makes room for questions, rather than burying the answer in technical language.

The home, not just the appliance

A furnace, fireplace or water heater does not operate in isolation. Airflow, venting, controls, fuel supply and the way a household uses its equipment all matter. Looking at that wider picture is the starting point for a sensible conversation.

Practical long term thinking

Repair and replacement are different decisions. Age, condition, recurring faults and household needs deserve consideration together. The goal is to help homeowners make an informed choice, not to treat every concern as a reason to buy something new.

North York roots. Ontario homes.

Being based in North York places HeatNest within a region of diverse neighbourhoods and housing styles. Across Ontario, winter cold, summer humidity and changing seasonal demands all influence the way home equipment is used and cared for.

We list the communities we cover in our service areas directory. Availability and the scope of a particular job should be confirmed when you get in touch, especially where the equipment or property needs a more specialised assessment.

For us, home comfort starts with paying attention: to the equipment, to the home around it and to the person asking for help. That is the purpose behind HeatNest.
